Mom of 2, human biology nerd, and so honored you're here. I've been in that birthing tub, that hospital bed, those raw in-between moments where you need someone steady beside you. As your doula, I bring real education, fierce advocacy, and hands-on support through pregnancy, labor, birth, and immediately postpartum. My utmost goal is for you to feel confident, cared for, and like yourself as you step into matrescence.
My educational background is in human biology and psychology, and I ground my doula practice in evidence-based, medically-informed care delivered with empathy and compassion.
I'm committed to supporting the physiological process of birth — helping you move, breathe, and find positions that work with your body's own rhythm, and offering coping techniques that help labor unfold the way it's designed to.
At the same time, I recognize that medical intervention is not a failure, and sometimes can be the safest, and even lifesaving, choice.
I will help you understand what is happening during your labor and I'll be your loudest advocate — but ultimately, I always want you to feel empowered and informed to make your own decisions, whatever path your birth takes.
Knowledge is power! We'll talk through what to expect during labor and delivery, as well as your hopes and preferences for your experience.
I'll be available via text leading up to the big day. Then, from the moment you call, I'll be there with comfort measures, steady presence, and unwavering support.
I don't make decisions on your behalf, but I help you get the information, time, and space you need to make your own.
We'll meet before your birth to get to know each other and prepare. Then, I'll be with you through labor and delivery, and check in again once you're home. In between, we'll be in touch via text/phone.
