The word "doula" comes from the Greek word for a woman who serves.
A doula is trained to provide physical, emotional, and informational support before, during, and just after childbirth. While I understand the physiology of birth, I'm not a medical professional — my focus is on providing continuous presence, physical comfort, and non-clinical guidance, for you and your birth partner both.
If there's ever something you're unsure about, please ask. I'm here to support your voice and choices — not replace them.
From our first prenatal visit through your postpartum check-in — here's how we'll stay connected.
